Q Do you check my credit?
A Yes we do. When we process an application for rental we run a credit report, employment/income verification and rental verification. At 3 of our communities we also verify your bank accounts information because they are on a special tax credit program.
Q Do I have to have perfect credit to qualify for an apartment?
A No you don't. We can work with most applicants who don't meet our credit guidelines by offering to let them get a cosigner or pay an additional deposit.
Q Do you charge for maintenance repairs?
A No we don't, however, if damage is caused by the resident or his guest through neglect, we make the necessary repairs and charge the resident for labor and parts.
Q Can I pay my rent with a credit card?
A Not at this time. We currently do not accept credit cards, debit cards or cash. We are researching a program to accept credit cards and debit cards and will keep you updated.
Q What if I can't pay my rent on time?
A Our rent is due on the first day of the month but you have until 5:00 p.m. on the 5th day of the month to pay it without being charged a late fee. If you pay your rent after 5:00 p.m. on the 5th day of the month you will incur a 10% late fee. If your rent is late for the month you must pay it in the form of a money order or cashier's check.
Q Do you have rent specials?
A From time to time some of our properties have specials. On our home page you will see a tab "Communities". Click that tab and a drop-down menu lists all of the properties we manage. Click on one of the properties you are interested in and you will be taken to their web site for more detailed information.
Q Does everyone living in the apartment have to sign the lease?
A Everyone 18 and older who lives in the apartment must fill out a sperate application and be name on the lease agreement.
Q Can my parents lease the apartment for me?
A No. To lease an apartment you must live in the apartment full time and be listed on the lease agreement.
Q Do you have 6 month leases?
A Most of our apartment communities offer 6, 9 and 12 month leases.
